Good Business Podcast Mentors
At the Good Business Podcast we are passionate about giving young people the opportunity to learn media skills, enabling them to realise their full potential. Our volunteer mentors work with our young trainees to help them build practical skills through the Good Business Podcast from planning the podcast, to audio and editing and content creation, Our young trainees work alongside our volunteer mentors to help businesses tell their unique stories.
Season 2:
Danielle Nicolson
Danielle is our Good Business Podcast Host for season two. She is also a volunteer dbnn mentor committed to supporting young people to access opportunity to learn media production skills through working on Good Business Podcast projects.
Danielle is co-founder of Powering Authenticity, a mentorship membership community supporting young women in their careers and an aspiring entrepreneur herself, Danielle is enjoying hearing first-hand from inspiring leaders on the topic of business at its best and leadership.
Scott MacDonald
Scott is the audio and visual expert working on the Good Business Podcast.
We first worked with Scott on a charity project for SNAP and we just knew we had to get him onboard for the Good Business Podcast as our resident videographer and were delighted when he also joined our dbnn volunteer mentor team to help guide young people interested in learning audio and visual production skills. As an entrepreneur himself, Scott is passionate about all things Good Business. Scott owns his own company, Flying Scotsman offering videography, photography and he is an expert in capturing drone footage. Scott even has his own children's book published.
Season 1:
Drew Hendry
Drew was our first volunteer mentor and guest host for season one. As the local MP, Drew shares our passion for celebrating good business and creating opportunity for young people to learn media production and communication skills. Our trainee media production assistants worked alongside Drew and the DBNN team to create season one of the Good Business Podcast. From planning the podcast to creating the end product, our trainee media production assistants benefited immensely from Drew's mentorship on communication and presentation skills. We are grateful to have Drew on the volunteer mentorship team.
